Why We Need Bisexual Awareness Week & Bisexuality Day

Bisexual Awareness Week began on September 16 and culminates on September 23rd in Bisexuality Day or Bivisibility Day.

According to co-founding organization GLAAD, a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ+ advocacy, media, monitoring and cultural change, the goals of Bisexual and Awareness Week is to celebrate the resilency of the bisexual community, accelerating acceptance of bisexuals and their community.
