Wesley Cullen Davidson
Wesley Cullen Davidson is an award-winning freelance writer. She has written on a variety of subjects for print, radio and the internet. Her roster of clients include Johnson & Johnson, rug dealers The Caravan Connection, Inc., clothing designer Koos van den Akker, and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, among others.
She has written for women’s magazines such as Good Housekeeping as well as parenting magazines such as American Baby and Adoptive Families. Her articles have also appeared in the Gannett Suburban Newspapers. With her knowledge gleaned from working for New York City advertising and public relations firms, she has taught publicity. A parent herself, Wesley has been a guest panelist on childcare for Channel 12 TV News in Westchester County, New York.
Wesley is a docent at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in Florida. She graduated from Manhattan’s Finch College with a B.A. in Art History and served as Head of the Student Committee at the College’s art museum. After college, she worked for the renown art dealer Richard L. Feigen. With a broad liberal arts background from college as well as from her preparatory school, Choate Rosemary Hall, Wesley later took writing courses at New York University. She attended NYU while working in the field of public relations and advertising in Manhattan.
Ms. Davidson brings twenty-five years of writing expertise to her assignments. Her specialty is researching multi-faceted subjects and translating them into clear text that “ hooks ” and sustains her readers. Wesley is particularly interested in writing about parenting gay and/or adopted children as well as health and psychological issues.
